Do you feel like your health & wellness strategies are failing you?
What if all you had to do was make a few tweaks, to begin feeling like yourself again?
If you’ve been through menopause or are currently in the throes of it, you already know this transition is tricky. Your body is rapidly changing, your energy is zapped, and your ability to focus is long-gone. Do you find this leaves you to feel like you’re a stranger in your own body?
To make matters worse, you’re doing everything you know to do to turn the ship around. But the strategies that worked for you in the past no longer work.
Friend, as a postmenopausal woman myself, I want you to know that I have been in your shoes. It can be incredibly difficult to navigate this phase of life when you don’t have a clear plan. When I had my hysterectomy in 2020, I was THRIVING! But when menopause hit, I quickly learned that some things needed to change. What worked for me before, was no longer working. If you aren’t willing to change some things, the journey will be that much more difficult. I know change can be scary, especially if you feel like something worked for you in the past. But did it REALLY? If you’re still reading, I’m guessing you’re ready to do what it takes to feel like yourself again.
As young women, we’re under constant pressure to measure up. We feel like we need to spend more time in all the ways. Just ten more minutes on the treadmill, mark one more item off our to-do list, and lose ten lbs before every vacation. We skip meals or consume junk food because we’re busy. Then when we’re finally able to sit down every evening, many of us wash it all down with a glass of wine.
When we’re young, our bodies are resilient. We can adapt to such mistreatment; however, after 20-ish years of living life in the fast lane, our bodies don’t bounce back as well. Or at all! When we begin transitioning into menopause, we lose our focus, suffer from anxiety, and struggle with sleeping too little or too much. To add insult to injury, many women struggle with depression, inflammation, weight gain, achiness, and exhaustion.
During our second season of life, everything changes. The fats are if you want to thrive through it, your strategies must also change. Extreme calorie deficits and too much of the wrong exercises create stress that, unfortunately, your body can no longer recover from. Strategies that once worked need to be replaced with new strategies that work with your body, rather than against it.
Fortunately, there is hope as long as you’re open to change. Tweaking your lifestyle habits, nutritional choices, and exercise strategies will help you take your body back. There is a way to have more energy. By changing your body composition, and improving your overall health during perimenopause and beyond, you will!
If what you’ve always done is no longer working, the menopause transition could be to blame. Join me for my free masterclass, where we’ll dive deeper into the strategies that work WITH and FOR your body today! Be sure and grab your seat below!
